Safety Guide
SuiteFace Inc., a Florida corporation · Version 1.0 · Last updated October 16, 2026
If you are in danger or someone is hurt, call 911 now. SuiteFace is not an emergency service.
Most dates are just dates. But meeting someone new carries real risk, and harm can happen. SuiteFace does not run criminal background checks on members, and a card's rank, verification mark or Joker meter is not a promise about anyone's character. These house rules help you play every hand safely.
Before you meet
- Take your time. Chat in SuiteFace first. Your phone number stays hidden until you both call a Win.
- Video chat before meeting if you're unsure someone is who they say.
- Look them up. A quick search of their name and photos can catch a fake profile.
- Watch for red flags: pressure to move fast, refusing to video chat, stories that don't add up, or any request for money.
- Never send money, gift cards, crypto or financial details to someone you haven't known well, in person, for a long time.
On the date
- Meet in a busy public place: a restaurant, coffee shop or event. Never meet at a home, hotel room, car, or any private or isolated place for a first date.
- Tell someone you trust who you're meeting, where, and when you'll be home. Share your live location with them.
- Get yourself there and back. Drive yourself or book your own rideshare. Don't get in their car and don't let them pick you up at home.
- Keep your phone charged and with you.
- Watch your drink. Know your limits, never leave a drink unattended, and don't accept one you didn't see poured.
- Keep personal details private until trust is earned: home address, workplace, schedule, children's details and finances.
- Trust your gut. Leave anytime. You never owe anyone your time, a second date, or physical contact. Consent can be withdrawn at any moment.
Checking in
When you're together, both players tap Check in to start Play Hand. Check-in uses each phone's location once to confirm you're at the same table, or a 4-digit Table Code you swap in person. Your location is never stored or shown.
After the date
- Call the hand: Win, Push or Loss. Your call is private.
- If something made you feel unsafe, use Report a safety concern, not a Joker. Safety reports go straight to SuiteFace staff, can lead to suspension or removal, and can never be bought out.
- Block anyone, anytime. They'll disappear from your deck and you from theirs.

Some states require dating services to tell members whether they run criminal background checks. SuiteFace does not.
